ProTec Course Descriptions:

ProTec 2* Diver:

Planning and performing dives to max. 40m/133ft with decompression tables.

Theoretical training:

• Diving Equipment
• Use of dive tables and dive computers
• Dive planning
• Psychological problems associated with diving
• Diving environment
• Environmental awareness / Weather
• Precaution for diving in unknown environments
• Risks on the surface
• How deal with problems during the dive

Diving prerequisites:

• Advanced Navigation
• Search & Recovery
• Dive Group Leader
• ProTec Medical First Aid or equivalent certification

 

ProTec 3* Diver:

Additional to ProTec 2* Diver: planning and performing dives to max. 40m/133ft with a maximum decompression time of 10 minutes.

Therorectial training:

• Diving Equipment
• Physics of diving
• Use of decompression dive tables and dive computers
• Dive planning
• Medical questions regarding diving
• Psychological problems associated with diving
• Diving environment
• Environmental awareness / Weather
• Precaution for diving in unknown environments
• Risks on the surface

Diving prerequisites:

• Night Diving
• Advanced Navigation
• Search & Recovery
• Deep Diving (40 msw)
• Equipmant maintainance.

ProTec Advanced Nitrox:

Planning and performing decompression dives to max. 40m/133ft. Using EAN40 up to oxygen as decompression gas.

 

ProTec Advanced Deep:

Planning and performing decompression dives to max. 50m/166ft. Using minimum 1 decompression gas from EAN50 up to oxygen.

This course is for divers with interest in technical diving.

 

ProTec Extended Range:

Planning and performing decompression dives to max. 60m/200ft. Using 2 decompression gases from EAN50 up to oxygen.

Technical dive equipment is necessary.

 

ProTec Dive Supervisor:

Planning and conducting dive excursions for divers under difficult conditions. The ProTec Dive Supervisor is a very experienced guide, who can manage all varieties of diving conditions. He has an excellent knowledge about diving theory, planning dive trips for beginners and experienced divers in all recreational levels and can assist in a dive center in all recommended areas.
